Home Tutoring, Inc. is best
described as an association of teachers who serve as
private instructors (tutors). We are a large group with
diverse backgrounds and experience at a variety of age
levels. A wide choice of teachers is available. Some of
us are full time teachers who may also tutor one or two
students. Some are retired teachers. Some are raising
young families. All have outstanding qualifications and
are outstanding individuals. The teachers in our group
are delighted to have the opportunity to work with
students in a one to one setting. Much can be
accomplished working this way and teachers experience
great satisfaction in seeing his or her student bloom.
When we match
a student with a teacher, we carefully choose just the
right teacher for the individual. We take into
consideration many factors, such as the student's age,
level, subjects, learning styles, personality, schedule
and personal preferences. We are dedicated to the
success of the tutoring sessions. It is our goal to
provide the best service in the tutoring business.
We focus on the
student's work at school. Often we can achieve a quick
and dramatic turn around. It is our goal to help the
student develop a sense of well being and control at
school. It is our ultimate goal to help students become
more independent in their school work. We work to
resolve issues such as study and listening skills, test
taking skills, organization as well as catching up to
class level and preparing for challenges ahead.
We believe
that, in general, students prefer to work in the comfort
and security of their own home. Each teacher in our
group is background checked and we require an adult to
be at home during the lesson.
